Calling all future chefs! Two Magnolias is at it again – cooking, eating and having fun – and is inviting all children, ages five and up, to check out our summer classes.
Two Magnolias presents summer camp: Cooking with Kids 2008
Every week, from June 17 through August 12, calls for a new, fun-filled menu. Children can pick their favorite theme or attend all summer. Either way, they’ll soon become a Two Magnolias chef!
All classes are from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays through Thursdays:
Week 1: June 17-19 – “Sizzling, Summer Sunshine” — Join us for a week of your favorite summertime dishes as we celebrate the fun summer months to come.
Week 2: June 24-26 – “Hooray for the U.S.A.” — Enjoy some patriotic and home-style cooking in honor of July 4th, including Grandma’s best apple pie.
Week 3: July 8-10 – “Sea, Sand & Me” — Come and learn about a variety of dishes, drinks and snacks – some of the best things found “under the sea.”
Week 4: July 15-17 – “Picnic Time” — These windy, sunny, summer days are the best for having family picnics – learn easy treats to bring along.
Week 5: July 22-24 – “Sunny Side Up” — Aside from sleeping in this summer, you can also perfect cooking yourself, and your parents, a fabulous breakfast.
Week 6: July 29-31 – “Christmas in July” — While Mom is out doing some early Christmas shopping, spend the day in the kitchen with us, learning some of our best Christmas recipes.
Week 7: August 5-7 – “Grillin’ & Chillin’” — Join us this week for some of the best BBQ tips around. After this, you may be able to give Dad some pointers.
Week 8: August 12-14 – “Back to School Basics” — As school approaches and you get back into your busy schedule, let us share with you some of our quickest and easiest sack lunch secrets.
