Supers

The Toronto group the Supers consist of founders Maury Lafoy and Graham Powell and together the duo hones their own alternative pop rock alongside Tim Bovaconti and Jeff MacPherson. Lafoy and Powell, both guitar aficionados among their Canadian cohorts, have both played with the Barenaked Ladies, Randy Bachman, Squeeze, and Sarah McLachlan. The Supers, whose single "Turn" was used as the opener on the Summer 2000 Molson Canadian CD Sampler, issued their debut Spklanng! in early 2001. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
