This Moment

Metallic hardcore quartet This Moment emerged out of the same Southern California breeding grounds as Atreyu, Shai Hulud and Thrice, and vocalist Kyle Laughlin, guitarist Matt Lafferty, bassist Sean Doughtery and drummer Nathan Freeman, quickly found a crucial supporter in leading scene producer Paul Miner. Together, they recorded the band's debut album, Finding a Voice in the Dark, in 2005, and released both it and its 2007 successor, Star Parallel, through Uprising Records, whilst touring the U.S. with the likes of My Chemical Romance and Kill Radio. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
